The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is a trained, professional law enforcement agency that is responsible for the law enforcement duties within the county. In addition to law enforcement duties, the Office is also responsible for tax collection, auto inspections, concealed weapon permits, courtroom security, protection of judicial members, civil and criminal process service, fiscal court attendance, and prisoner, juvenile, and mental health transports throughout the state and nation.
The Sheriff’s Office also assists victims with obtaining and executing Emergency Protective and Domestic Violence Orders. The Office also provides crime prevention methods through meetings and training sessions within the county at schools, businesses, and churches.
